   I won’t be so quick as to jump to the conclusion that the bakery staff will “act like a dog” in the prescence of a foreigner. However, their behaviour looks like the exact reverse of the situations I often read about on the web site http://notalwaysright.com/ - instead of the customer being stupid, the shopkeeper is now the one being stupid: you clearly asked for the closing time, only to be replied with the opening time the first time, and a rude tell-off the second.

   If his shop ever closes down, rather than blaming everyone and everything else, he should really take a close look at his own stupidity first.

   alex ong: well, there was lots of cauasians in the bakery and i think that is his main source of clients… there was another instance that he insulted one of my friend’s english and he left with his whole group of friends after that.

   I think he seriously pissed alot of people off with his bad attitude towards casually dressed Singaporeans who patronise his bakery.

    Hey Jeri, u should have put the exact name of the wedding studio. So we can put negative comments abt the studio on Forums & Blogs. Haha.

    And you should have put the name of the owner of the american bakery. i’m sure he has to wear a name tag.

    Their attitude are very fucked up!

    hanz: nah, the owner doesnt wear a name tag but he is a old man (probably a retiree) who set up the shop as a hobby.

    Not nice to put the wedding studio name, many studios are money generating factory conveyor belts from our numerous encounters, once they know we don’t want to sign a package and just checking out their photos (my bf is a photographer and i edit photos), their attitudes change…

    I do see the lighter side of the bad experiences, and if you response to them in an adverse manner than you are bringing yourself down to their level. Totally not into physical violence as that will not only make matters worse, you will be slapped with a jail term because of it.
