What Lie Is It Today?

When i open the newspapers, i am thinking “what are they going to lie about today?”. Newspapers are filled with lies of what they want you to believe in. They are funded by advertisers who want you to purchase their products. They will announce: 20% sale island wide! (When in fact they raised their prices 20% island wide so you will believe you are paying less for a good deal).

The downside of studying marketing in depth is that i don’t really believe in what advertisements say, especially when the label says “100% natural goodness”. Well, everything is 100% natural as it comes from the soil including chemicals right? The term “natural” is ambiguous.

The most terrifying sort of marketing is subliminal messages, little messages that you don’t notice. They can totally mindscrew the whole population into believing that they have they are good for you. A good example is Macdonalds sponsoring Olympics and branding their cups with different types of sports. Its a subliminal message trying to tell you eating lots of burgers will make you sporty too!

Sadly, we don’t have a “thinking population”, most of them follow what they see on without questioning. Thankfully, the ministry of education has realized they had churned out a vegetable generation and decided they should look into ways into allowing questioning in school (should that be the case in the first place?!)

Education Minister Ng Eng Hen said yesterday in a speech at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.

At the end of the day, he said, education in Singapore needs to ‘nurture each child to believe in himself and be self-sufficient, to care for his fellow man, and to be able to contribute to the larger society around him’.

What he is trying to say we currently have a bunch of insecure, pampered, selfish and narrow minded bunch of students who don’t give a dam about contributing to society but achieving the best grades in school and top positions in working life at the expense of everything else.

Makes alot of sense to me, majority of the people in my generation don’t really care what happens to “the society”, it does not matter to them, what matters is the fast cars, girls and brooze.

I am sure these people will leave Singapore anytime given the opportunity.

Sexual Liberalization

I wonder when will we have a conversation on the streets in this manner in near future. In fact i have no idea why do people conceal their sexuality, it is something to be proud of. If you have no sexuality it means you are going to be wiped out from the face of earth very soon. In fact, sex transmutation is the underlying secret to success (get your copy of Think And Grow Rich if you haven’t).

There should not be prejudice against people having their alternative lifestyles. Simply put - not everyone is born vanilla (normal). There are all sorts of people out there with their own kinks and secret fetishes and it is part of human nature, not a abomination of sorts. In fact, almost everyone of us has a kink, it depends on how far we are willing to explore the darker side to it. Just that, the bunch of people who are courageous to look deep into their sexuality and be proud of it are alienated from the rest of the vanilla folk.

Our media is filled with so much s e x that it is hard to avoid it. Just go to the “Guy Magazines” section of any retail outlet and you will be able to see tons of babes clad in lingerie or bikini. Even kids are getting sex education. So what is the big deal about sex? There is nothing to hide really, everyone does it. Those tabloids digging out on Paris Hilton and Edision Chen sex scandal are just so overrated. They are humans too! So what they are naked? They are still humans.

When civilization has evolved to a stage whereby there is no discrimination based on race, sex or ethnicity, there will be no sexual prejudice either. Everyone will be free to practice any sexual orientation they have.. straight, bisexual or gay. It will not effect the way people perceive them as they are still - human.

The Yawning Bread is a good read for anyone who would like to understand about gays. After all, 5% of all guys have gay tendencies while 10% of all females have lesbian tendencies too.

Although sexual liberation might not happen before we say goodbye to the world, I still feel that the human civilization is still in its immature stage that is why stupidity strives in our society.

Why Would ANYONE Join Singapore Calendar Guys?

One of my guy friend is training up really hard… he is basically going to the gym every other day to get his muscles up. He even boils egg white (without any flavoring) and consume whole meal bread for his diet! It is quite painful to see imagine having such tasteless a diet like that.

For straight guys from the streets to be groomed like this and styled in such suggestive poses, and in such noti trunks, the organisers did a wonderful job to bring to us a product we have all been yearning for so long.
