Love & Gratitude

A picture of a water crystal after saying “love and gratitude” to it.

“I will kill you.”
Imagine what our thoughts could do to us if they could do that to crystals?

The Paradox of Unlimited Wants

In the commercialised world of today, we have trapped ourselves in an endless cycle of unlimited wants. There are so many things that we would like to have but cannot have. In economics, we learnt that the economy basically runs on the scarcity concept. There are limited resources but unlimited wants. This is the paradox of human nature.

Most of us, sitting here right now in front of a computer screen, have abundance in our lives. In fact, we have so much that we can indulge in technology, games and hobbies. There is actually no lack of our needs as we have a roof over our heads and food to eat. We are living in a world that we “want” and not “need” something. We want luxury items like the latest Wifi and Iphone. However, these does not come for free. The value of the item is based on the perceived value of what it is. For example, the Iphone cost $100 to manufacture in a factory in China. However, because we perceive the value to be much more compared to the other high end phones in the market it is valued at SG$1000.

Majority of us “trap” ourselves in the illusion of wants. The marketing efforts of these companies somehow has a defined what is “in” and “out”, leading us to think what we have now is rather old fashioned and should be upgraded when in fact, there is no need for that as it is still in proper working order, like the latest flat screen televisions for example.

Breaking down the material code of unlimited wants has also led to my redefinition of happiness. If we continuously tell ourselves that we want this and that, we would not be truly happy because of the lack of [the thing] itself. However, it is not that we need it, it is just an illusion that it makes us happy by owning the item that we desire.

Kings and queens of the past has surrounded themselves with exquisite treasures but some of them were never happy in their entire lives no matter how much they owned. They knew they would not be able to bring these items to the other world when they leave this place. They feared the imminent death that they built pyramids and monuments to preserve their legacy. It is strange indeed, that nothing can replace the value of happiness.

Happiness In The Material World

The world is not one dimensional. There are overlapping dimensions. What our physical eyes can see is not what it is to all. However, many of us live in a one dimensional world, it is also called the material world. Many of us feel empty because of the lack of material objects ( the latest iphone, laptops, cars etc). There are infinite wants but limited resources. As a result, many of us want more material objects to fill this “emptiness” in our lives. So, we always feel that we are in a state of poverty.

However, life is not about just having material possessions. It is also about spirtual well being, in fact, being spiritually fulfilled is more important then being materially fulfilled. To attain spiritual well being, we have to understand our life’s purpose, our past lives and our vision for the future. Then again, most people do not realise the key to happiness is what lies within their hearts. Our heart will tell us what is best for us. Many people choose to ignore and surpress their feelings to conform to expectations.

By understanding ourselves, we learn to accept ourselves. By accepting yourself for who you are, you wil be able love yourself. Only by loving yourself you can then share the love with the people around you to make them happy.

This is the key to happiness which we all know but hide inside.

A Reservoir of Boundless Gifts

Within everyone of us, lies a reservoir of untapped gifts.
We do not realise our full potential because of our self imposed limitations

Imagine, the wonderful contributions to the world you could create if you could let your mind go freely, amassing the knowledge in the whole universe, tapping into all the resources you need to create your works.

Let yourself go, do not hinder yourself.

Hindrance comes from within, limitations are boundless.

If everyone of us awaken to the idea of infinite possibilities, imagine the amount of happiness we could derive out of our gifts. Imagine a world of resources, waiting for you to summon them at your call. Imagine, the pyramids, the great wall, the hanging gardens of babylon. Imagine all that you ever wanted.

The new energies are readily coming into the world, feel their higher vibrations, their godlike energy, flowing into your body, empowering your soul. Feel the silver white light flowing into your body. Feel the control in your hands, using your hands to create goodness for all.

Feel yourself levitating through the air, with white light covering your body, protecting you from all harm. Feel yourself becoming closer to the core of god. Feel the angels around you, hear the bells ringing in your ears.

Listen to your heart, listen to your purpose. Let it guide your way.

May the light be with you.

Once upon a time

there lived a group of people who was very close to mother earth. They would admire the flowers and eat the fruits of the trees she bore. They believed she was alive. They would take good care of her so as not to incur the wrath of the heavens. The angels would advise them on where to plant the seeds and guide them towards the rivers. They would work with fairies to tend to the wonderful gardens of paradise. They would ask the plant spirits for permission to use their leaves to brew medicine and remedies. They would hold celebrations to welcome the seasons and lived in sync with day and night. They believed that the sun represented the god and the moon, the goddesses, and there was a god for everything on earth.  They built temples to worship the pagan gods of love, strength, tides, winds, lighting and thunder. They loved the world as much as they loved themselves.

One day, a new breed of power hungry people decided to take control of the world. They were jealous of the gods, they wanted power and would do anything to get it. They outlawed the existence of the pagan gods and destroyed the temples. They accused the old wise ones of working with the devil. They imprisoned anyone who was caught brewing “potions” and labeled them as “witches”. Many of these people  went into hiding into deep forests to preserve their knowledge and wisdom. Soon, we lost our connection with mother earth.

They were so detached with mother earth that they abused it for gain. They ploughed her soil till she is no longer fertile. They exploited her mines for gold and treasure. They drilled the oceans for oil. One day, mother earth cried and cried in sadness. Her falling rain drops filled the world with her sadness, they sent waves of water around and around the world, engulfing it in a big flood of emotions.

The sun rose the next day and dried up her tears. A beautiful world was born once again, flowers bloomed as the angels sang. The fairies bustled around the gardens, the rivers entwined with the mountains. How did they ever forget mother earth? They began to look after her once more, they protected the forests from harm and stopped the exploitation of her resources. In gratitude, she smiled with a rainbow across the skies.

Indigo Transformers

The shifting conciousness will see the collapse of financial systems and the renewal of spirtual growth.

It is an age of transformation, and there are the new breed, right here, right now, who will be the agents of change.

Some of you might have heard your calling, some of you may not have awoken yet, some, are preparing for the future.

Some of you might have felt the energy shifts, some of you might have experienced headaches, some of you might have sleepless nights from overlapping multi dimensional realities.

Some of you might have realised your psychic powers, some of you might have predicted the future, some of you might have saw your past lives.

Come, 2012, the indigo child, will pave the roads for the future, for the next step in the purification of the human evolution.

The Importance of Education is OVER Rated.

I have come across people of different ages and generations and they all seem to agree on the same thing – studies is to be placed with utmost importance in a adoscent life. I disagree, in fact, i am finding this belief rather old fashioned. Here are my views on the issue:

1. Education is meant for the masses

Education only became widespread after the industrial revolution. Millions of employees are needed with the right skills and knowledge to run the factories and manage the business. In the past, people were involved in trade and apprenticeship – small little businesses that catered to local demands. However, the onslaught of large multi-national corporations led to the demise of the traditional business and the introduction of corporate branding (brainwashing to be exact). A new breed of people, called the Investors, took control of the economy but speculating and buying company shares. As a result, these “educated” people now work for the invisible shadows in the boardroom. The only look at objectives and profits. There is no empathy, if the company is losing money, “employees” are fired. These poor employees work 9 – 5 each passing day to satisfy the demands of the directors in fear of losing their iron rice bowl.

In addition, these employees have added burdens. They probably borrowed a huge loan from the bank to pay for their house, because, obviously, they don’t have the means to pay for it at one go. In the end, they end up indebted for the whole lifes paying for their debt – a shelter over their heads, food to eat, and funds to support their children through school. Being an educated employee doesn’t sound fantastic anymore does it?

2. Education in school creates specialisation, not generalisation

Education does increase a person’s knowledge, but there are many things that they don’t teach in school. The real world and the illusionary world of theories do not make sense at all. A person can be trained in for example, Aerospace, and find himself unable to be unemployed because they have changed the regulations in the Aerospace industry. I won’t find this person regarded as an “educated employee” as he is pretty redundant, or would i say – useless. The knowledge that he acquired in his education no longer serves him. However, he might be saved if he had developed general skills during those years – like networking, managing and sales. These skills might aid him better in life as compared to technicalities of fixing an airplane.

3. Education breeds a new generation of ignorant people

I am very supportive of this saying, because, some people who think they have a degree obviously think they are very smart and look down on others with lesser qualifications. This is because of the way the society has brought them up – they become ignorant, narrow minded and unaccomodating. Their narrow views of the world has been formed by the knowledge they are only exposed in school – there is no additional knowledge they know of outside, unless, they realise that they are indeed mediocore as compared to the world around them. This explains why they are able to do so well in school – they spend all their time on what is required of them. They become robots, its not bad to have a new generation of robots, after all, robots are needed to power the economy by emulating – like a clockwork factory going 24/7.

4. Education leads to souless bodies

In the process of education, people tend to lose their sense of self. This is because they have to follow guidelines, theories and acccepted modes of behaviour in order to get the best grades. Questioning is not welcomed, you have to follow what is written if not you will go out of point! The rigidity of the system makes it hard for individual expression as it is all surpressed – only answers from the books are allowed, individual opinon is not needed. Where is our soul?

The Minons

The little dark ones jump around in delight
Clinging onto every thing they could find
“Come and join us in the merry parade!
We will drink and dance in the fires.”

Their slithering forked tails
and evil dark eyes peering out
Uh no, they are the devil in disguise!

Their horns don’t deny, they chase the weak and feeble!
Whispering intentions into their ears, whispering misdeeds to be done!
They chomp greedily onto their host’s flesh, like a parasite
Stronger and stronger they grow, now the minion is a monster!

The monster takes control of the host’s body
Controlling their every movement every step,
Their karmic retributions grow more and more
The devil is born, and has to suffer in hell when the hollow shell is decayed.
