I am pissed off at myself right now cuz i am still using Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
With Jeri’s new 50mm 1.4 lenses
I just love it.
Of our violin series
I am freaking myself out right about now.
Found this treasure in the guitar series.
In collaboration with Ejun low
I am just so crazy editing this series. It is super difficult to contrast white and white. This is my favourite series for now. I am in love with my own works. Then again when Jeri and I look back at our violin series we think it kind of sucked so we are going to do it again. When we compared our first CHIJMES shoot to the second… there was a big difference in its quality.
First shoot
After 3 months
I am glad we are improving over time… hope to get our gallery space by September 2008 ^^
Keep a look out for more updates!
I tend to go to the extreme and not comform to how people edit their pictures normally.
For this case, i decided to have a “floating” effect… white on white to blend into the background
and the model features to be contrasted with the purity of it all.
Steven Wang (link to his gallery) did a really good job!
Its super errie… i will never go back to the place again!
Although the feel of the place is very different from the usual chinese traditional stuff…
Better then what i did with Jeri at chinese gardens… i felt like puking at the red cheongsam…. SUPER CHIN A.
I feel like i am in malice mizer … but not the western kind of gothic…
This is the eastern type of gothic… a new gothic culture?
Should i name it Eastern Gothicism ?
Black cheongsum + vampiric lady + abandoned chinese dynasty = Eastern Gothic
If i was in a red dress in that setting things would be pretty scary….
CHIJMES series is finally completed
